50 hr Yoga Teacher Mentorship Programme

I am thrilled to be launching this idea that has been brewing since I completed my 500hr Teacher Training. A unique mentorship programme for new teachers or teachers who have not made that leap yet to teaching. My goal is to help you gain confidence, grow your unique teaching skills, and help you hone your own teaching style. This mentorship programme will be in a small group format, so we can learn from others and so you will also have a group of people to teach.

Join me as we explore 3 fun inversions, sirsasana A (headstand), pincha mayuransana (feathered peacock also known as forearm balance) and adho mukha vrksasana (handstand). This workshop is recommended for those who are familiar with inverting and bearing weight in their arms. You do not have to be a proficient hand-stander. Chair Back-bending Workshop

For some of us, me included, back-bending can be a very challenging asana. For some of the backbends we need a large range of shoulder flexion. But we can still practise a myriad of back-bending poses that create that sensation of openness in the front of body. Practising some of those bigger backends can be easier when we have the help of props. So join me as we explore the use of a chair to help us backbend.

I am so excited to be offering a collaboration with another teacher for my next workshop. Elaine Seidel and I will be helping you work on a variety of standing balancing poses. We will focus on finding your centre of gravity. We will chat about the science of how centre of gravity changes. We will also focus on using our bhandas or TVA muscles in balancing postures. Self Practice Workshop

Having a regular yoga practice can enhance health, by increasing strength and flexibility, reducing symptoms of stress, depression, and anxiety, as well as focus and sleep. For all those going away that cannot get access to a yoga studio, why not try self practice. Having an established self practice is easy and fun and gives you the chance to get to know your own body better. Join me for a 2 hour workshop R250 per person. Minimum 2 people required to run course.
